That Is The Way

A little poem…
When all is stirred, we pay attention.

All was stirred inside
And then I understood
Peace may come and go
That is the way of the mind
But knowing how it feels
Keeps me responsible
All was stirred inside
And then I found my truth
One that is not set in stone
I know what hurts and what doesn’t
That is the way of the body
But knowing the difference
Keeps me paying attention
All was stirred inside
And then I understood
There is no such thing as enlightenment
Clarity may seem to come and go
That is the way of the One
But knowing it is actually always there
Keeps me here, and free.
