Coming Home

After years of being out there
Floating around in circles
Waters seemed calm and safe
But a storm was building inside
Slowly, I let the wind blow
I let it guide my way
Falling in love with its directions
I find myself now
At ease with the storm
The wind built and blew
A woman anew, Old Me
Dancing with the myths and tales
I am transformed
I am the same
I am coming Home
A paradox

Blow wind, blow.

Lucky Iron Fish

A Lucky iron Fish
Showed up at my door
A friend to my well being
Still tired, but hopeful
I welcome this sweet fish
Water boiling on the stove
Fish swimming in the pot
What a joy it is for me
I found my therapy
Sipping all that magic
I can hear a whisper
A Lucky Iron Fish
Sweetly says to me
Open the door to
Abundant energy

Hi, fishy fish.

Creative Child

Where have you gone
My Creative Child
I miss our play dates
Our never ending stories
Our colors and crazy shapes
I want you to stay
But often I send you away
I get hypnotized by a stranger’s eye
I drown in someone else’s dream
I get lost in another’s world
And what society expects of me
I reach for all sorts of distractions
I take a bite, I sip, I buy, I sleep
But nothing fulfills me as your Fire
Your absence is now so crystal clear
I don’t want to push you away anymore
Creative Child, rise
Come again, and burn me
Come again, and consume me
Delight me with stories
Paint me all colors
‘Cause I am ready
