That Kind Of Peace

“Becoming acquainted with yourself is a price well worth paying for the love that will really address your needs.”
(Daphne Rose Kingma)

Time passes us by
We are changing
As we go along
We play our parts
We grow into understanding
Dancing with the heart
Oh, heart, my dear heart
Speak, cry, tell me why
No one will ever know
The truth of me
The truth of you
The needs and the spaces
And the whys
I have tried
I have cried
I have blamed
Still, I know
I’ve grown into my own
I fell into my own depths
And finally found
That kind of peace
Oh heart, my dear heart
Speak, cry, tell me why
No one will ever know
The truth of me
The truth of you
Always changing
As we go along
But now I know
The needs and the spaces
And the whys
I have embraced
I have caressed
I have understood
Still, I am
Dancing with the heart
And finally found
That kind of peace

What Matters Most

“Please forgive me,” “I forgive you,” “Thank you,” and “I love you”.
(Ira Byoc, ‘The Four Things That Matter Most’)

A greater understanding
Knocks on your door
Every now and then
And when you open the door
You fall, you fall all the way in
Taking a plunge into the depths
Of your loving heart
Oh, no, it is not easy
Tears may be shed
Shedding a light
Into what matters most
The lessons of that moment
The sorrows that may surface
The forgiveness demanded
The clearing and the clarity
It is love, it is love
It is love that matters most
Our shared Spirit

And in that moment
The walls break around your heart
You feel again, you feel again
Such profound meaning
Our relationships carry
A greater understanding
Knocks on your door
Every now and then
So open, open the door
Take the plunge

And when you come to the surface again
Bring what matters most with you
Our shared Spirit
Our Love

line under high with life

Stay Clear From Dogma

My Dear Vitality
Help me to stay clear from Dogma
As it paralyses my thinking
And it gives rise to judgment
Why is it so easy to fall into its embrace
A comfortable, fitting place
In between all the crowds
Believing I belong to one
But I know the insecurity it brings
I know I do not truly belong
I do not truly fit in
I am unique flow
And Dogma has no place
In my changing Heart
As it feels like a cage
For someone who wants to fly
