The Whole World

“When you realize nothing is lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” (Lao Tzu)

The purr of a kitty cat
A delicious cup of coffee
A shave without a cut
The good old song on the radio
The touch of loving hands
The sight of a child’s smile
A broken engine
The meeting you missed
The spilled coffee on your shirt
The parts of you that feel shame
The hello you were too shy to give
The too many cookies of last night
Stop for a second to contemplate
How everything is meaningful
All experiences are complete
We are full of Life

We are full of Life.

Empty Hands

And the decluttering mindset strikes again…

“You can’t reach for anything new if your hands are still full of yesterday’s junk.” – Louise Smith

Sometimes all you really need is… empty hands. Empty mind. Space!

Think about it…

“Thirty spokes unite around one hub to make a wheel.

It is the presence of the empty space that gives the function of a vehicle.

Clay is molded into a vessel.

It is the empty space that gives the function of a vessel.

Doors and windows are chisel out to make a room.

It is the empty space in the room that gives its function.

Therefore, something substantial can be beneficial.

While the emptiness of void is what can be utilized.”

Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching, Chapter 11
