How Happy Are You Right Now?

“Perhaps if one really knew when one was happy one would know the things that were necessary for one’s life.” – Joanna Field (by Sarah Ban Breathnach in “Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy”, on January 7th)

Sarah Breathnach writes “what is missing from many of our days is a true sense that we are enjoying the lives we are living”… and that “we must learn to savor small, authentic moments that bring us contentment”.

Take the time to enjoy the joyful moments… the smiles… the lessons… the simple gestures… the tastes… the simple authentic life.

  1. I agree that happiness is most important and we all need to become more aware of what feels good and what does not.

    1. Thank you Shian, being aware of how we feel is so important. Our society is afraid of acknowledging negative feelings, and negative feelings are the key to happiness, because it’s always a journey, a learning, a dance between negative and positive feelings, feeling bad pinpoints what we must look at and be aware of. Beautiful world we live in!
