The Broken Glass

“Become aware that there are no accidents in our intelligent universe. Realize that everything that shows up in your Life has something to teach you. Appreciate everyone and everything in your Life.”
(Dr. Wayne Dyer)

The broken glass
All over the floor
Brought me to my knees
Cleaning up
Looking around for more
Upset and hurried
I let my calm loose into the air
And all of the sudden
I see a shining light
An earring, a gem
I have been looking for
And asking the Universe
To bring it back to me
Happily I pick it up
Thank the Universe
And the broken glass
How funny it is
We are so quick to judge a moment
But should be as quick to thank
This Intelligent Universe
Makes no mistakes
The broken glass
Brought me to my gem
